You're wrong. Henry Selick did NOT direct this movie. Henry's contract with Laika expired a little after Coraline was done and has been working with Disney for the past year and a half working on his own stop-motion film. Christ Butler is the one that directed this film.

Much rather not see a sequel to a movie as great as this.

Laika is an excellent animation studio but there's some sort of jinx when it comes to sequels in movies, always resulting in it never living up to the original.

But Laika has shown great animation technique comparable to Pixar itself, which is nothing less then a great achievement for stop-motion films everywhere.

Sure, Laika is a great animation company but the curse about sequels in movies is that they never live up to the original, which is unfortunate. I'd much prefer it if Laika was working on another unrelated movie to ParaNorman. They're basically the stop-motion equivalents to Pixar, which is nothing less then the best complement any animator could get (At least for now) :)
