Nora arrives in Llanview where she meets Sheila at the hospital.

At the courthouse, Rachel confides in Hank that she won't go back to Chicago if her mother arrives. Hank assures her Nora wouldn't leave her clients to make the trip.

It always interested me that from early on they set up the story where Nora had the headaches, which then led into Sarah's death.

Why did Rachel hate Nora?

@ThorneAstor Hate? No. Rachel didn't hate Nora. She hated that Nora treated her like a child. You know, that mother/daughter angst that eventually happens at some time.

I was a couple of years older than the Rachel character when this was going on, and Nora and Hank treated Rachel like she was a child. Rachel figured being with Hank would give her a little more freedom, and that wasn't exactly so either. I guess Rachel thought Hank was the lesser of two evils. She didn't hate Nora.
