I was just out of VoTech, sharing an apt. in Couer d'Alene with a schoolmate from Indiana when this album came out; he came in one night showed me REO/TWO and told me 'you gotta chheck this out" Wow! Loved it; their cover of Little Queenie made me crazy

one of my favorites! but generally speaking like elvis most of their lyrics are aobut girls and that gets old so i found better music and lyrics in rush but reo are still likeable and this is one of their best tunes!

beats the hell out of their girly 80s crap

This album has a real "Southern Rock" vibe about it--being recorded in Nashville have anything to do with that?

@marcdell That's Kevin. You're mistaken. 1st album Terry, REO2 Kevin. Mike Murphy for Ridin the Storm Out, Lost in a Dream, This Time We Mean it. Then Kevin returns with REO.
There's a tougher, manlier, rough edge in Cronin's voice on this album that I thought was really effective. And Richrath just scorches! Fave REO albums are the harder ones: this one, "You get what you play for", and "Nine Lives". By no means am I knocking 'Hi Infidelity"either, I love that one too, I just come back to the harder ones a lot more.
