  • Auntyji, when you made chole, I remember that you added besan. Is it not necessary to add Besan here in rajma recipe?

  • @subramak

    rajma don,t need besan.

  • Miss Manjula, How should I make this recipie without using the pressure cooker because I can not afford one. I rememeber having this dish at a friend's house from overseas and I have a serious craving for this dish! Please help! <3

You can cook this without pressure cooker it will take about one hour to cook.

  • @misalisa212 Just use 2 cans of kidney beans and add less water. The only reason for the pressure cooker was to make the beans soft. Kidney beans out of a can are already cooked through and soft.

  • @Information76 I prefer rajma without onion and garlic, though it

    s OK both ways

  • Thanks for the recipe Manjula aunty. I made this dish as per your method and it came out very good. Maybe i added more chillies than needed because it became a little spicy. So I added a couple of spoons of tomato ketchup + some lime juice and that bought down the spice level and gave a good taste too.

  • Hi wonderful dis and what brand cooker is it? and where did you buy it? Did u buy it in USA?
