A Second Introduction To The Yoga Vasistha

The Yoga Vasistha is One of The Worlds Longest Texts & Contains Thousands of Extremely Advanced Stories, many of which appear Surreal. Its Grandiose Nature has often prompted Readers to draw parallels with Science Fiction!

But in fact it is also for this reason that Vasisthas Yoga has Often Resonated with some Futurists & Nuclear Scientists - particularly those involved with Quantum Mechanics - where the Distinctions between Matter & Spirit or Subject & Object are less obvious!

Nonetheless, in this case, it is not their intellectual abilities or capacity for abstraction, or even whether such Super Worlds / Dreams Exist or Do Not Exist (i am sure we may be able to find a few of those in this Big Universe Lol) that is of Greatest Relevance. But Rather more Importantly, as a consequence of Living in Two Worlds, as it were (i.e. Sub-Atomic or Quantum as well as our world) they are less Complacent about the Fundamental Assumptions that seem to Govern our very own World. On the Other Hand Most of Us take these Assumptions for Granted in Observing, Interpreting & Understanding our Surroundings, thereby Forming an Objective View of The World / Universe which is then (implicitly or explicitly) Considered to be the Reality!

One of the Central Tenants of this Beautiful Text is that of Repetition though The Stories are Intricate, Wild & Varied, they All Convey the same Truth from A Myriad of Perspectives. So that the Student is Never Left to Despair, but is in Effect Peeling off Layers of Ignorance with each Angle That They Are Able to Comprehend.
