The temple complex was inaugurated on 6 November, 2005.

Akshardham means the eternal, divine abode of the Supreme God, the abode of eternal values and virtues of Akshar as defined in the Vedas and Upanishads where divine devotion (bhakti), purity and peace forever pervades. For the first time ever the world witness the heritage of India in all its facets, insights and beauty at the Swaminarayan Akshardham through its temple, exhibitions, gardens and other attractions.

most of the people including many hindus think about religion in abrahamic sense i.e some god somewhere telling something someting to the pepole through some prophets n all.....break away from this childish and primitive notion of religion and one will see the truth......hinduism says change is rule of the world n nothing is immune to it but change itself.....

Hi Guys,

All faiths have one Big Boss and that is God so why fight over sutpid arguments as to who is older etc. One can attain God through various faiths and all are good in their own way. It is for this reason that Sikhs made a lot of sacrifices because Indians were not united and outsiders like Islamic invaders and Britishers made hey while the sun was shining. So, let us not make the same mistakes of thinking we are different when we have a common father in GOD.
