i love how honest the film maker is. just shows you how intimidating Waimea and the men who surf her are. it is not that the guys are "scary" or jerks, actually the opposite (aloha spirit). no these guys get your respect for having the courage to face the full force of nature. complete respect.

the last guy who showed up in the vid who got everyone to go out is dave wassell. north shore lifeguard n a true waterman who rides these waves because he loves it . if he calls these other guys gentlemen n lets go surfing i am definitely not going to say shit about their judgement in these conditions . i guess for some people its easy to talk shit about people they dont even know about behind their computer ...............
