Operations of my MTD Yard Machines Chipper/Shredder

Here is a video clip of my MTD Yard Machines Chipper/Shredder in use.

The black sled prevents the discharge from burning a hole in the lawn, the pallet keeps it from blowing all over the garden. The chippings will end up mixed with lawn clippings for mulch later this year.

It does come with an optional collection bag that works well, just didn't use it for this job.

@jeremylee99100 It is a shredding bin...it can lower and you can rake leaves in...or leave it up and just put loose pieces into the machine for shredding.

After watching what this could do I came accross one on Craig's List and it did not nearly do the job yours is doing. The former owner said he sharpened the blades but I am guessing he didn't because the pieces discharged are pretty big... I was hoping for mulch not sticks. Where might I be able to find an owners manual so I know how to properly sharpen the blades? These posts have been a big help!!

Most manufacturers have a website with owners manuals and such. and yes...she needs her blades sharpened.

I know I should be able to find one on line but I have not been able to... that is how I found your video. If it's not too much trouble can you look in your manual and send me the website?! I don't want to tear it apart, sharpen the blades and then not be able to get it put back together.

Yeah..if not, I'll scan a few pages of mine...and better yet, I'll show you how it's done on mine...very simple to do...I'll film it this weekend. :)

Were you able to post a video of blade sharpening? I was able to get the big blade off but not the small ones.
