  • @coandcaiv -- I think you're thinking about the 944.

  • thanks! the upkeep costs depend on what's been done to the car lately. if it needs a new timing belt or tires, then yes, that stuff is expensive. if not, then you shouldn't have to do anything with it. if you're thinking about buying one just take it to a porsche mechanic first to make sure the big stuff has been done...

  • My Dad had the same car, same color and same interior didn't like the bucket seats though.

  • @coandcaiv You are thinking of the 924, but the van engine was a myth, 924 used an audi engine ( hardly cheap) and it was fitted with a porsche head and fuel injection.

this is a 928 5 litre v8, same shape as 924 and 944 but a bit more bulky, this is a long distance supercar...

last 928 made was at the time the fastest car in the world.

924 turbo was the fastest 2 litre engine car in the world when it was also made.

  • @danfinley99 You are thinking about the 924.

  • i heard this is like the worst porsche ever made.....like has a van engine or something haha

  • is this killing red or just plain red?

  • There actually not to exspensive I own a 1982 Porsche 928. You can get parts any where the only thing that was exspensive on mine was the front and rear brake rotors. Most european shops can fix this Porsche cheaper then the Porsche dealer plus dealers always rip people off. But if your worried about being exspensive you can fit a chevy small block engine in the car. The insurance on mine is really cheap and this is my third Porsche.
