  • Hey this pedal sounds so cool, I didn't even know that you could make a bass sound just like a synthesiser of such a high quality just by using a pedal like this. Sounds awesome! I do have a question about the octave part of the pedal though. I have heard octave pedals before and I'm not sure if I like them because I thought an octave pedal could make your E string sound like it was tuned down to D, but there's two sounds coming out at once. Is it possible to set it so that it produces 1 sound?

  • @SDRockman When you program the pedal using the software, you can mix three octave layers however you want. So, for example, you could set it so that you only hear one octave below the pitch you're playing, but you don't hear any of the dry sound.

  • @pufifa Haha! No it didn't! :)

  • this might seem like a really redundant question but... can this b plugged in2 a synth triggering a basic sine wave or a bass sample??? i'm lookin 4 badass bass pedals 2 run thru my synths.... but only using the synth as a basic trigger and gettin the character of the sound from the pedal NOT the synth itself....

  • @premidlifecrisis No, you need a MIDI pickup on your bass in order to use MIDI to trigger other sounds and samples. This pedal is designed for those who don't have a MIDI pickup.

  • @MarkbassAmps

I suppose if I ran it through another octaver, I might get something like that. I'm getting one anyway!

  • @guyshocks MIDI is kind of a different animal altogether... you would need a MIDI pickup for that, and if you have that, then you have access to the whole world of MIDI gear, which is of course huge. There are a zillion MIDI sound modules out there. This pedal is really designed for bassists who don't have a MIDI pickup, but want to create synth sounds!

  • @spamystyle No, this is not possible.

  • my question would be, can you have settings for both the synth and octaver at the same time?
