@vnyc82 This wasn't a case of stealing read the description. The guy was chasing a woman in the Wal Mart with a hand gun witnesses saw him and called security.

It's pretty simple. They cannot arrest you until you leave the building. Once nearing the door, do a 180. If anyone is looking at you, following you or whatever, walk back into the store and put the shit back. By that time though, you may bruise an ego and most likely get grabbed but drop the crap. They cannot press charges and any court apointed will get the case dropped if it goes that far.
Other than that, stop trying to steal shit. It isn't worth it. Stay in school, smoke pot and be happy
