i think that you have made an error in saying thatNakamoto is the last living student of taira shinken. i know of others that were taught by him and are still alive

Yes, there are others that were taught by Taira Shinken, but of his close direct students Nakamoto is the last alive.

if you mean successors then you are right,as Taira had three successors Inoue Motokatsu,akamine eisuke,and masahiro Nakamoto,the first two are now deseased
