While there is absolutely nothing funny about the West Virginia mine disaster, there is certainly something funny about this moment from the memorial service where a man sings the National Anthem while the cameras focus on Obama.

@jedispy All you have to know about Rick Perry is that he won't win. The GOP will bring up how he used to be a Democrat, worked with Al Gore, and raised taxes several times during his terms in Texas.

@Erbabe91 :) Actually I agree. I'm serious here. I am saddened by the idiotic weakness of the GOP. I would love nothing more than to see Barry O get kicked out on his ass in 2012. However there are no strong contenders. Personally I'm sure Bachmann and Romney are good moral people. However neither are electable, at least not over B-Rock. I don't know anything about newcomer Rick Perry, so I h ave no opinion on him.

I want my Lincoln & Roosevelt GOP back. THAT is what USA needs right now.

@jedispy If modern Republicans could actually return to their roots their party wouldn't be such a laughing stock...Michele Bachmann can't even remember when slavery was abolished...and Mitt Romney believes corporations are people too...because you know...all of the money corporations make goes right to the average employee right? I don't understand middle America Republicans at all...most are middle class, why do they vote in people who give tax cuts to big businesses?
