Sprint Samsung Restore

Just a quick look at a great unknown mid-range phone.
Still a fairly new phone with a good value. Its what the Samsung Exclaim should have been (which I also briefly owned....this is much sleeker and less bulky)


Trackpad is jumpy but great for web browsing.
Battery life is orgasmic.
Dedicated camera and volume rocker keys feel like they should.
Volume Rocker also works great as a scroller when browsing web (Non-OperaMini)
Calulator is awesome.

Been using this for over a month now and am still pleased for its class of phone.
Using this for awhile before I get my next smartphone. (Saving money each month in the process)

My smartphone list has beed narrowed down to (in order of consideration):
Droid Incredible/Droid 2 (Tie)
iphone 4
HTC Inspire 4G
EVO Shift 4G
Samsung Galaxy S series on either Verizon or ATT
Blackberry Bold 9780/9650
Blackberry Torch

or just stick with my HTC hero? (samsung transform maybe?)

WINNER: Droid Incredible. Will try to post a vid soon but having computer issues...May have to buy a new cpu!!
Got the Droid on 2/18 for free from Best Buy. Love it!

please help like i have pics on the fone right its the same one but from virgin mobile...so when i try to put a pic as the wallpaper it says that the image is to big like wtf plesae help

You need to make sure the wallpaper will fit your screen. If it says 940x640 you know that's gonna be too big. The resolution for this screen is 320x240. The wallpapers you see are from funformobile and myxer I think. Look for pics that are 320x240. Sometimes a little bigger will also work. I just put a 320x480 on my Samsung Intensity II and that screen size is smaller than this restore (2.2 vs 2.4 restore)

I hope my parents will let me get one it seems like a good starter phone cuz I've been forced to use a tracfone so I hope I can get this one it seems simple haha

@JasnoGT i dwn loaded the pics from funformobile and now when i try to download a pic like i press dwn load n it doesnt dwnload it just shows me the picture n its from funformobile..and also that means all my pics are to big lol

Keep in mind that the virgin mobile version does not come with a trackpad, but a Dpad instead. That kills it for me. That and the Virgin mobile software OS.
