A commercial parody of the old K-Tel record commercials of the 70's & 80's.
This is somewhat dated now, since a lot of people may not know what a 45 is. 45 RPM records existed before CD's. The handy thing about records, was that you could listen to your 33-1/3 RPM records at 45 speed. This was especially amusing to adolescents with A.D.D.
The audio track was originally recorded sometime in 1983 - the video was made 26 years later.
Songs on the album include:
Every Breath You Take - The Police, Sexy + 17 - The Stray Cats, Church Of The Poison Mind - Culture Club, Undercover Of The Night - Rolling Stones, Down Under - Men At Work, Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue - The Ramones, My Generation - The Who, Steppin' Out - Joe Jackson, The Other Guy - Little River Band
that is funny!

Can you do "One on One" by Hall & Oates up to 45 RPM?

Good! To give the parody the extra kick, you need to have the song cuts about 2 seconds long.

When I was a kid, we actually used to do this. Yes, this is how we amused ourselves before video games and the Internet. Current songs were fun, but it was even more fun to do this with your parents' records, especially if your parents had really crappy taste in music.

Joe Jackson actually sounds good sped up.

This is worthy of the commercial parodies on NBC's Saturday Night. No, NOT SNL - NBC's Saturday Night. I'm in a retro mood, so I'll call it by its proper name. Anyway, good stuff.
