Just checked your profile to see if you had any awesome Sagat videos uploaded and I fear I shall be forever tainted!!! Cheers. My record against Sagat in XBL G1 is around 8-2(at least) and I play a low-tier charcter, so I agree tier's are not important.....my record against Rose isn't nearly as good..

PhatSaqs, I am a fan of your Rose. You play very good in the videos you post. What was the problem here? I don't think Sagat's tierness had anything to do with you losing that way. There are lots of tricks and set-ups you do in your other videos that you just didn't do this time. I wander why?
Maybe it just was a bad day for you.
But IMO, based on your other videos, you could had beat this Sagat in these matches.
BTW, I'm saying the Sagat was scrubby or anything, he played good.

Look at what happens when Rose gets knocked down. If you don't understand frame data then you might not realize it but Sagat can limit Rose on wake-up pretty easily. Alot of my wins came from this abuse.
As for why Saq's didn't do certain things..lol. Did you watch all the vids? he does tons of set-ups. But either way if you have two people that are roughly equal then that's where match-up's and tiers kick in.

Sagat is an asshole, it's that simple. No reason to make a character that overpowering. I hate losing to Sagat's just because they only need to hit you 5 times and you need to hit them 25 times.
