Volcker stops way short of coming out with his full opinion. Why?
1. he does not want to lose his standing with the current administration;
2. he does not want to panick the markets?
Clearly he knows Economic history and that all fiat currencies ultimately fail, and that the time is now upon us.... USD is at the brink.
So Paul Volcker will go down in history as missing a chance to ring the alarm bell so that more than just those able to read between the lines have been warned!

QUESTION: WHY IS THE US CHEATING ITS TAXPAYERS, DEBASING THE CURRENCY, INFLATING THE WORLD ECONOMY WITH DOLLARS, ABUSING THE DOLLAR AS THE RESERVE CURRENCY? ANSWER: BECAUSE WE CAN. AND THERE IS NO ACCOUNTABILITY IN THE SHORT TERM. IN THE LONG RUN THE MORE COMPETITIVE PRODUCER WILL WIN. EVER HEAR OF CHINA? YOU WILL SOON.

@ally4free1 Actually I have heard Ron Paul speak about Volcker and Dr. Paul has said that Volcker is the only one in the FED who is actually trying to address inflation.....Still think we need to end the FED though.

EVEN THE DILETTANTE historian can see the parallel between the USA's disdain and lack of confidence in a great man, Ron Paul and the disdain of Winston Churchill. Churchill, like Ron Paul know full well what was going to happen with the Nazis, and Ron Paul knows full well what it will take to fix our corrupt, bloated government.
Vote for him, before its too late. Just as with Churchill 70 years ago, soon it will be only a seemingly eccentric man, with the right ideas, Ron Paul, to lead us.

Greenspan said there is no such thing as a bubble economy.
Support Ron Paul's new legislation, HR1207 demanding an audit of the criminal Federal Reserve System!! He introduced it yesterday 02-26-09, and told us this evening at CPAC that he has a substantial amount of support, and co-sponsors on both sides of the aisle.
Ask your congressman or woman if they think "we the people" have a right to know where our money went? If you get a YES, then they should co-sponsor this bill. If it is a NO, then they have to go!!
