sadly they have gone for a small 1/2.33 sensor and a high number of pixels. this has always, in the past, produced noisy poor quality photos. if this camera had a larger sensor and a lower number of pixels it might produce something worth having. odd to see the words "simulated" against the video clips - if this camera is that good why not show us REAL video from it. I expect it will find a home with people who know and care little about noise in video/photos. shame as the package looks good.

@ourtvchannel I totally agree with you, they should have sacrificed some mega-pixels for better image quality, noise and low light performance. 9 to 10 mp would have been ideal. I also wanted this camera to be good i was planning on replacing my Sx10 is with this. Lets wait for the reviews to see what the results shows

Hi. Can I ask you, how the hell do you get these videos onto your PC? I can't see them on the thumbnails when I go onto my memory card, I can only see the photos and high speed movies..! I use windows vista.

I've used the supplied software so can view them there but I want to put them onto my PC so I can edit them using other software..

Any help would be much appreciated!

Resize the photos to 5 or 4 MPx equivalent  and the quality is back

I have bought the fz35, the older model....no complain bout it...bet this would be a better one..but still i'm going for DSLR...nikon d90~ ^^

This camera is awesome, thanks Panasonic I love the side hinged swivel LCD, 24x zoom, and AVCHD HD. I will be buying it.. Is it 1080i or 1080P ???
