The bassist is Tommy Shannon. He was the bassist for Johnny Winter on the early albums. Same great touch. Check out 'Be Careful with a Fool' on the album, same sound.

Stevie Ray Vaughn was a brilliant guitarist. However his bassist and drummer were just as brilliant to accompany SRV. Just listen to that bass groove.

This guy is an amazing guitarist. That being said, he resembles Hendrix in too many ways. His sound is really Hendrixy, and thats ok. But mainly, and I hate to focus on the identity more than the music, but he dresses EXACTLY like Hendrix. I mean come on. Look at what hes wearing. That is Jimi Hendrix in white skin.

His bassist kicks butt! Who is he with these days(dec.2010)?
I would like to see him with an Alembic Spyder 4, like Entwhistles'.

He also had some Howlin' Wolf in his voice which you must acknowledge.
This, my friends, is a guitar player with TONE!
