This is a conch not a cone snail. Look at the shape and colour of the shell. Also cone snails are endemic to certain areas which does not include the Mediterranean where these guys are.

yeah, I know about cone snails, the larger ones that hunt fish are more dangerous. This shell looks alot like a queen conch

I did research on it too, it's called Conus Geographus.
If that harpoon had stabbed you, you would've been screwed. People have died from those snails.
