Inspired by the Kevin Carmody and Paul Kelly song my Sustainable Urban Nutrition (SUN) gardens 'intensively convert waste to food locally', thereby reducing food and waste miles. The economic and carbon savings are potentially significant although the real benefits are the increased availability of local fresh food and the easily observable example of sustainability in action. the seeds are called little things and produce big things. As a poet, all I need now is a tractor, a seeder and a large paddock - I have my own sunflower seeds. Sustainable Google Earth ads!
