The Beach Boys Concert- "Help Me Rhonda"

The Beach Boys concert at the Ozark Empire Fair- July 31, 2009- Here are the Beach Boys performing "Help Me Rhonda". John Cowsill, the Beach Boys drummer, is singing lead on this song. The "helpers" up on stage are his siblings, "The Cowsills", who stopped by for a surprise visit. They are on tour themselves and are performing in Branson.

What a great combination of vocalists! (Each originally a "family band" before Osmonds or Jacksons came on the scene. LOL!) Their history goes back a long way with The Cowsills once playing a stadium show in 1966 that included the Beach Boys, Stevie Wonder & the Four Seasons.

Nice. I've seen them twice in recent years. They were better the second time but Cowsill was the highlight both times. He's really a great drummer, the best they've had since Carl died.
