My cousin, Larry Parks, Jr. was killed in Iraq on June 18, 2007. He was a volunteer fire fighter. He was stationed in Iraq for only 38 days before a roadside IED flipped the tank he was a gunner on. I made this video for my sister Jenny and her husband who was his best friend. This is also for his family who miss him dearly. Song is Red, White, and Blue by Lynard Skynard

Please if you were Larry's friend or served with him in the military, leave a comment and share your memories with his family. If you don't wish to make your memory public, you can send me a message and I will forward it to his family.

Thank you

  • Rest in Peace Larry. I was wounded in Vietnam but you gave the ultimate sacrifice. My thoughts are with your family and friends. "Soldiers don't die. They just fade away".
