To change a CPU, open up the computer, locate and remove the processor fan, remove the existing CPU using electronic screwdrivers, and replace it with the new one. Be careful not to bend any prongs inside the computer when replacing the CPU with help from a computer technician in this free video on PC maintenance.

  • @macleine031 nope, your HDD (Hard Disk Drive or Hard Drive) stores all your files YOu can change out your CPU and all your files will still be their

  • @deityofanimee Ohh I thought there was something wrong with the way he was handling everything. I forgot about the thermal paste.

  • @artinhopar818 You have to put thermal paste on the CPU, otherwise the heat won't transfer from it to the heatpad on the fan.
