Venezia, Sabato 16 luglio 2011, la magica festa d'estate dei venexiani vista dal john. Il Redentore è una delle feste più sentite a Venezia, si celebra ogni terza domenica di luglio, tuttavia la tradizione vuole che i festeggiamenti veri e propri siano il sabato sera, con lo spettacolo pirotecnico alla mezzanotte. Storicamente si festeggia il Redentore per la fine della peste nel '500; per l' occasione, fu eretta la chiesa omonima alla Giudecca per volontà del Doge Sebastiano Venier su progetto di Andrea Palladio.l filmato è stato realizzato con la mia Sony Digital HD video camera recorder DDR-XR520VE, dotata di grandangolo.
