  • Those cars weren't just a step forward, they were a giant leap forward. They are still some of the best looking cars of all time.

  • Einer der allergrößten. Mit 400 Sachen in den 30ern über die Autobahn ist einfach gigantisch!!!!

  • @MarcioBortolotto You are neither not knowing what you say or you talk yourself into believing that stuff. Have you got any idea how deep that "braindrain" was for Germany that the Nazis caused? Half of the German intelligence was forced into exile! Einstein was just one name that anybody knows. even during the war many things got developed secretly because the "Greatest Fieldcommander of all Ages" had forbidden any development that was not ready for the front within 180 days.

  • @Jeansschwimmer - Ideology helped in this case. Others ideologys close to the nazys, others totalitarians regimes, but just the nazis reach this level. They were 25 years ahead minimun in tecnology, well, in everything.

  • @12valvepower1 no spoilers held themon the raod at higher speeds, that is why Rosemeyer's car was virtually lifted by a gust of wind and flew off the road.

brakind system and steering were primitive: even with leather gloves the race pilots had bloody hands after a race.

  • @12valvepower1 hi, what exactly do you want translated? write to me.

  • @MarcioBortolotto as soon as they could keep "politics" out of their heads, they were able to achieve a lot in the field of art and technology. Ideology would only put the brakes on everything, though the Nazis claimed any success for themselves. This ignorance is the topic of present discussion on any of them: writers, musicians, actors, sportsmen, pilots, engineers...

  • The Audi Rosemeyer needs to exist as a car to sell.

And it needs to look like the Stromlinie. Not like the Rosemeyer concept from a while back, but the Stromlinie: the clean lines, the arches, the back that looks like it could be a huge-ass diffuser...

I'd accept no other tribute for the man than that. Audi, you have the resources. Who cares if it means you're elbowing for room with VW and the Bugatti Veyron? Do it!

  • I would like the spark plug box at 1:25.
