NBA All-Star Game 2003

"The fadeaway... YES!"

With the game on the line in Jordan's final All-Star game appearance, the GOAT busts it out one more time; high arc, bottom of the net, fist pump(Benny Sin style). Marv Albert's commentary, as usual, makes another classic Jordan moment all the more dramatic.

This shot would have been the game winner and another feather in Jordan's cap had it not been for a foolish foul by Jermaine O'Neal on Kobe Bryant on the other end, who hit two free throws to send the game into a second overtime period.

Since this was billed as Jordan's last All-Star game there was a lot of hype going in and all eyes were on him. Vince Carter was more or less shamed into giving up his starting spot to him. Players were getting him the ball trying to get him buckets but he actually had a sub-par performance by his standards, needing 27 shots to get his 20 points. But this shot is just another example of Jordan's superhuman ability to consistently rise to the occasion and deliver in pressure situations. Like Marv Albert said, crunch time "is Michael Jordan time".

  • @Oldcartoons571 differnce is jordan never had horrible gaes like kobe and for all 6 championships he was finals mvp out of kobes 5 rings he was only finals mvp 3 times and 1 of them was co mvp shaq was the go to guy on those first 3 one year shaq almost averaged 38 points a game and robert horry was the one hitting clutch shots..

  • @LilCAm3211 it was just 2010 for his for 3 championships shaq was the one winning fianls mvp kobe was the 2nd option and robert horry was the one hitting cluth shots shaq damn near averaged 38 points one year in the finals

  • iverson and jordan on the same team?? cool

  • @LilCAm3211 Same with Jordan on his teams. When he was alone he sucked ass. With HOF talent around him he won.

  • Fuck you Jermaine.

  • @LilCAm3211 a championship isn't about just one player it's a team effort players have bad games too you know, if you watch the series kobe did awesome in all those but game 7 and he had how many reboundsin game 7 18? that's how they won with rebounds, don't be saying he costed them the game he just did better in another department

  • Was that beyonce? She looked hood with them micros

  • @otyknip i know that, all i'm saying is jordan may be the leader of his team but he also needed his teammates, i mean come on, do u think jordan woulda won his championships without scottie?
