  • @takeawalktoschool If you want strict no-gi sets from Hall, check out his Triangle and 50/50 DVDs.

  • @takeawalktoschool Quite a lot of what he teaches can be used without the gi. His 1st two DVD sets are all no-gi, and cover triangles, heel hooks, and an assortment of other no-gi chokes, foot locks, arm locks, sweeps, passes, and transitions. Even the two gi DVDs show a lot of movements that are not gi dependent.

  • @takeawalktoschool also...people do wear clothes, a hooded sweatshirt or jacket can easily be used like a gi in some situations

  • @takeawalktoschool But he's teaching Jiu Jitsu not street fighting.

  • he should do more no gi techniques. there is a gi to grab on the street

  • @GHRepresent Too bad I couldn´t see what he was gonna about the bow and arrow choke but the arm break was awesome!

  • His instruction has gotten so much better from his nogi 50/50 gward DVD, pretty good stuff here.

  • this is one the best dvds i have got my hands on and I am being very honest here. Ryan's explanation is very thorough. I just learnt that i don't konw a God damnn thing about jiujitsu. This is the shit right here.
