I for one see nothing wrong in ACLU's actions. They''re quite consistent in respecting PRIVATE rights, and fighting against PUBLIC endorsement of ANY religion.
If community officials put up Islamic symbols on public property, and you complained, they'd defend YOU to the teeth.
