How could one not love this!?

This woman made a real opera fan out of me. Taking lessons because of her. Just to sing 1/millionth of how she sings!

Spectacular... such emotion, such passion.

It brought tears to my eyes. I am so excited she is performing at the Sydney Opera House next year. I have bought my ticket already.

This recording doesn't do justice to her singing. I saw her at the Met on numerous occasions and was always blown away. She is a very communicative and engaging singer who is very true to the music she sings. I cried for hours when I saw her Butterfly. It haunts you days after the show is over.

Holy crap, this is fantastic!!! No one sings this better nowadays that I have heard!!

I saw hersing the new production of Tosca here in Houston. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time. She is my new favorite Puccini soprano .

I agree, I heard a bit of Sills in her more biting sound and the sweetness too... sorta like a lovechild of Sills/Larson with a bigger voice!

Amazing, awesome, magnificent, exquisite beyond talented, wonderful and any other existing superlative in all languages!! All this and a down to earth "real" person and gracious woman. I've had the good luck to see her in person about 10 times-that Anthony Minghella production of MB (with the puppet) that she sang in was unbelieveable. My favorite opera singer! Her vissi d"arte in Tosca makes you want to cry...SF Opera Fan
Racette was Fabulous as Butterfly. I saw her last weekend and she was fabulous.
