This is the very 1st tribute video to Richey Edwards on YouTube. I hope you enjoy it & remember Richey with love!

Watch the video all the way through to the end. A lot of people like how I ended this video. And please be aware that this video contains images of self inflicted injury (SI) and anorexia. Do not watch this if you feel it will upset and/or trigger you. Thank you!

Also, I am *NOT* implying or suggesting Richey killed himself in any way what-so-ever by the song I chose, "Spectators of Suicide" (by Manic Street Preachers) to make this video, but rather I just liked the softer side of the song, the tune itself, and thought the images would flow well with it.

I made this video in memory and in tribute to Richey James Edwards, Manic Street Preachers former rhythm guitarist and co-lycrist who disappeared on Febuary 1st 1995, and hasn't been seen or found since.

This is for Richey, with love and respect, wherever he may be.......

@j7609 I think its best to not speculate on either. We may never know. For me, he's been gone way too long and its very he's unlikley to return. I'm not saying he's dead or alive. But i guess we'll never know for sure.

@SuperMegabar i know. i just want the best for Richey. if he died, ok. if he took off & started a new life somewhere, that's ok too. well, i'm *not* saying i want him to be dead, but you can't live your life for others. so if he wanted to die, if he thought that would bring him happiness, that's his right. same with the possiblilty of starting a new life. i just wish his family had some answers, some clue as to what happened to him coz i can't imagine what they've gone thru all these years.

I believe Richey was the kind of person who was simply born unhappy.

It's so unfair how some people can be happy and others - who are in the exact same (or even better) situation - can't.

I hope whatever happened to him, made him happier or a little less unhappy.

Coolest rock icon ever. Sweet guy, and completely off his head. Couldnt play a lick of guitar, but he sure looked nifty holding one. He found self mutilation comforting, but rather than follow the well trodden path of burnouts by taking an overdose of heroin he fucking disappears. You couldnt script that shit any better.

Of course hes alive. Hes living in a Benedictine monastery in Subiaco. Hes got everyone fooled. Those Welsh are some crafty bastards. ;)
