Any young person that wants to learn the pipe organ in these days of time is to commended! Most young people if they have any musical desire to play an instrument are mostly going for electric guitars, drums & keyboards. It is obvious that he is a student so cut him some slack. I appreciate the fact that he has a desire to play music that gives glory to God! If you don't like this rendition there are plenty of seasoned organists on youtube to satisfy your fancy! God bless you son!

What a piece of garbage. Why do organists play all this frivolous non-music? There is so much great Mendelssohn, Franck and many others. But they insist on this third-rate crap, thinking that the audiences will approve. Well, the audiences DO approve because they have no standards.

you seem to be rather critical. I would agree it's not the best performance as I had just gotten a copy of the piece. The instrument doesn't lend it self well to that style of music either. However, if you consider Gordon Young's music to be garbage, you are a very narrow minded individual.
