If we have to lose the presidency to a Republican PLEASE let it be this one. Hell I'd vote for him. He seems like an intelligent and reasonable human being that won't run the country on his mood swings. But then again thats exactly why Repubs won't give him the nomination.

Rick Perry? Hard to believe that knucklehead is considered a serious candidate by anyone.

Huntsman, by comparison, is a highly intelligent man without the polarizing venom that separates him from those pandering to the basest emotions of the electorate. Hunstman stands alone as the only Republican candidate with international experience (ambassador to China). He speaks fluent Mandarin, by the way. Perry can barely speak English.

I could never vote for Huntsman. Global Warming / Climate Change is full of fudged data. His position is the same as Obama which is not acceptable.

I'm a democrat, but I would vote for Huntsman if he got the nomination. Republicans need to get their heads out of their collective asses.

@Darcsied27 I lived in Utah while he was Governor. I am liberal to the core, and I voted for him. He has the rare ability to look at an issue, and if he feels that it is the right thing to do, buck the party line. He is an excellent businessman, gives a ton of money to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, speaks Chinese, and plays Jazz piano. Whether he wins or loses he will always be a winner in my books.

@Sistarovat We are the most powerful for now. However, everyone else is rising, which also means they may have to pay more. As for the UN deciding the law of our land, the US does not like a general assembly resolution, then the US Senate does not have to ratify the UN resolution. General resolutions are non-binding. Iran is also not a permanent member of the UN security council. The US does not like a binding security council resolution then it vetos it. Problem solved. Iran can't do that.
