Yes it did seem that way. I always thought we might have been singing it wrong, but maybe thats the way it was supposed to sound. Like a dissonance in a way.

My choir has to has to this too. The only thing is that 1st your paino is really off. 2nd their's no legato in the song and there should be. Lastly, the voices were'nt blending togther and so the harmonies were off.

That's the way the piano part is written. It doesn't make sense to me either, but Copland did write the music that way.

your piano players were really off , could hear way to many soloists, very strained on top

My chorus sang this too. Your choir did it 10x better than ours did, much better blended than ours was.

This wasn't with you, but did it seem like the music didn't go with the song in parts? Like, no matter how you sang it, you always sounded off? I know it seemed like that with my chorus.
