@StudioGhibli123 I think it's still innocent ... she just makes it BORING as hell.

Its Kermit T (The) Frog
-
This is the the best I have ever heard anyone sing this beautiful but difficult song.

@panchamkauns: It doesn't matter the perspective, for Jim was Kermit and Kermit--even when performed by Steve, who was hand-picked by Jim himself--is Jim's essence, just like Walt was Mickey and Mickey--no matter the successor--is Walt. Wayne Allwine said himself that when voicing Mickey, he was told that he was just holding the position "for the boss" (i.e. Walt) and that's what Steve is doing with Kermit for Jim.
-
@mrshinyshoes: Act, my ass. Jim WAS Kermit and it was HIS theme song, just as "Wish Upon a Star" is Disney's (and "Being Green" is Kermit's solo theme & "Mickey Mouse March is Mickey's). The very fact that each and EVERY Muppet special had it included and that Jim's own funeral OPENED with an instrumental version shows the powerful nature of that song.

Since it IS Jim Henson's theme (his funeral OPENED with it, for pete's sake), ONLY he--as Kermit--deserves top billing. All others--as good as they are--fall to second place and below.

very nice voice ! Beautiful song

RIP Jim Henson's version too.
But Karen Carpenter can't compare to Jim Henson singing it as Kermit the frog!
