@willingslave Ugh! The movie was beastly. I wouldn't have known what the story was about if I didn't see the mini series. Poorly adapted, Paul Abbott had nothing to do with writing the screenplay. I thought Robin Wright Penn & Jason Bateman did the best job. I absolutely hated Rachel McAdams & I thought that it should've been Affleck as "Cal" and Crowe as "Collins." John's Cal was sensitive & determined & I think Affleck would've been a better choice & Crowe better for the powerful politician.
