Well I finally made it to the finish line. This episode covers the hinge installation, pegging the tenons in the doors, making custom ebony handles, and finishing. I end the video with a justification of my design.

  • @rudoatlas I honestly never priced it out. It was made as a gift so I didn't keep track of hours and material cost.

  • Hey! the gadget-station looks just awesome i enjoyed all episodes and i lernd much :) im a woodworker and i d like to do one too, is it possible to get the workplans ore are they secret? what kind of wood did you use?

sorry for my bad english, im from swizzerland^

  • @schofsgrind Well there's no secret since you just watched me build it over 12 videos. :) But this was one of my personal projects and I didn't develop plans for it. The wood is bubinga, a very dense exotic but absolutely beautiful!

  • Just finished watching your entire series on this Gadget Station, and was very impressed with the whole process and how you explained it. A lot of attention to detail with regards to the steps involved which is great. The humor thrown in contributes to making your videos that much more enjoyable to watch. Awesome job on the Station, and the end result was amazing! The more i watch you, the more i want to one day own my own shop, and create beautiful furniture pieces. Thanks.

  • @cndnborn thanks so much! i really appreciate that and hope you do get your own shop going.

  • Your work is awesome...although I'm not an expert I still think it's great. Sharing it at youtube makes it even better. I'm sure that it will inspire people from all over the world. Seeing you at work makes me have even more respect for the woodworkers in the old days. Great series !!
