  • No, Sister Dianna, history is not taught in US classrooms anymore. A sort of patriotic mythology is ingrained instead. And the president who was the 2nd biggest promoter of torture after GW Bush, Ronald Reagan, is now ranked by much of the public as being the greatest president in US history. Wish it weren't true, but the US public isn't on the same planet as the rest of the world.

  • This is one of the more shocking, disturbing things I've read, heard. Every American should be aware, but it sickens me to know that that will never happen.
