Jesus came not to destroy the Law but to fulfill it. However, he did replace old rites and signs for new ones, thus renewing the true God's religion. This means, same religion, new rite and traditions.

EVERYTHING that had originally been reserved for the nation of Israel before it had rejected its Messiah, has gone on to the Gentiles, except for its now-obsolete sacrificial system which had pointed the way to Christ's sacrifice.

A problem here is that the Greek does *not* say the women came to the tomb on the "first day".The word "day" is missing from *all* the texts, and "mia" is translated "first" only 7 times out of 358 occurrances, where it normally means "one of",not "first".Protos is "first" in Greek.Anyone interested should learn a little Greek(not rely on literal interpretations)and examine the resurrection texts very closely, paying close attention to plural and singular forms of"Sabbath".Do they both mean "week"?

Jesus's sacrifice was FINISHED on the Cross, yes. However their is still sin in the world, Jesus must return a second time, prophecy must be fulfilled and when that does, then ALL has been fulfilled. 10 Commandments were spoken by GOd, written with His finger and in the new covenant, these are the laws written on the heart and you can only keep them with Love for Him who has saved us. YOU are SPIRITUAL Israel, grafted INTO the stock. Not one covenant is EVERY made with gentiles.

God the Father AND God the Son BOTH kept the Sabbath (7th day) Holy according to His Word.
The example of obeying the 10 commandments is too plain. GOd (after they ignored His mercies) had to cast down judgments on Israel for TWO things primarily in Old Testament. Idolatry and not keeping His Sabbath day Holy. We still have this problem today with modern day Christians. Jesus it made it very clear, not one jot or title of the law would pass away until ALL was fulfilled.

Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Gen 1:8 ... And the evening and the morning were the second day.
Gen 1:13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
Shall I go on? As I said God's time keeping for a day goes evening and THEN the morning for a 24 day.

God rested on 7th day not man. Do you understand the sabbath was introduced with Moses. No scripture shows that anyone before observed it, not Adam to Joseph. I assume nothing friend. You assume that I assume. stop assuming. Never did I say morning. Never does the new testament give us a certain time of day on Sunday to worship. If so, prove it? It just says he taught on Sunday. It hasn't been transferred. They are seperate. Christians aren't given a command to keep the sabbath, Israel was.
The Bible is all I need. (2 Tim 3:16) You go by what man says and not God. First day of the week is Sunday!!! Understand. 7th day is not mentioned nor is it implied. You don't make sense then. Saturday night meeting and they left on Sunday morning? Then they waited an extra day! Hello! You contradict Genesis 1. You don't even believe what you read. why couldn't it have been Sunday night meeting and left Sunday morning, which sounds more resonable if you go by Genesis 1:5. LOL!

Sorry buddy, I go by the Words of My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Bible. The 10 Commandments are just TOOO plain to miss and for the christian, we obey out of Love as Jesus commands us to if we Love Him. I ask you again, are you telling everyone that the 10 commandments are done away with, but we still have to obey 9 of them? You are inconsistent.

Act 20:7. FOr it to be a Saturday night meeting and then Paul leaves Sunday morning, all you have to do is check out some history on the time keeping of Jews during his time. You are interpreting the Bible BY TODAYS methods and incorrectly so. You would NOT interpret some words in the King James by todays definitions, would you? So why would you NOT follow scriptures time keeping method of evening then morning for a day and Jewish history tells us this is how they kept track of their days also.
