  • Hi,really cool to find a Brit for a change! My question is,having done some research, did you have to prove to your doctor in a year long "real life test" before starting T treatment? It's not that I object to showing dedication/determination/ability to "pass",only that it seriously frustrates the individual concerned.I mean, no-one would just come to this conclusion on a whim so why do our doctors enforce it?I wish you all the best in your future,my friend.Take care and thanks for reading!:-)

  • @jkf1975 Hey there! I know what you mean. It's very stressful to have to live "in role" when you're not on T. I went private though, and I think you only have to have been living in role for around 3-6 months when you take that route. I can't remember all that well, sorry. Been on T for nearly 3 years now! But yeah, if you're going through the NHS, you usually have to do up to a year. I don't know whether things have changed or not now..

    Take care :)

  • just out of curiosity..how long post op was it before you started lifting weights again?

  • @j142d12 I left it at least six months, because I was advised to. I didn't lift much though. Starting lifting properly again about eight months post op. I've only not felt the scars pulling in the past few months.

  • That blond hair really suits you :)

  • @BlueZephyrTG Thanks man :)

  • u look great!!! love the blond on u :) congrats on getting engaged :D haha sheet sounds like everything is going really great 4 u;) AWESOME!

  • @isthistherealdeal They took over in May last year. Didn't need to go to the clinic to do that. My GP referred me to an NHS endocrinologist and he took care of it all :) The nurses at my doctors surgery do my injections and I make regular appointments with my GP to keep him informed.

  • did the nhs take over costs/prescription of T as soon as you had your first CX appointment?

  • @gebus84 Sweetness :D I wasn't sure if i could deal with it anymore. At least the length and amount it was at. And thankss :)
