  • Awesome weather station! I have the Pro2 as well. It's not a Plus but it has the solar sensor on it. I don't have the FARS either though I need one bad. (radiated & reflected heat off Texas pavement) I also have the leaf/soil station. I love those I find them the best tool in the garden. Currently have 4 moisture sensors, 2 temperature probes, and 1 leaf wetness sensor on it. So far so good. The station has provided me with much valued information.

  • @mckTXaws101 thanks for watching the video! I have the same soil station setup as you, it has helped me water the garden as necessary and it seems to be bang on with accuracy, I really love the system. Do you put your data on CWOP or Wunderground? Btw, I saw you comments on my Flickr account, thanks again.

  • @vaughanweather Took me a while to get back (hardly on YouTube). Yes my station does report to Wunderground, PWS Weather, CWOP, and WeatherBug. I've added the agricultural/turf management module to WeatherLink and have it expanding the data usage.

I've also replaced my WMR100 with a WMR200. I like having 2 anemometers to compair readings. Supprizingly both match wind speed, temperature, air pressure. As I don't have Davis's UV sensor yet I can't compair UV readings.

  • Awesome Vid I have the Davis vantage vue. Again a very good product from davis except you can seperate the anemometer which is annoying.

Great music aswell can you send me a link to it plz? A question does the davis vantage pro2 plus's solar panel have to be facing south for the anemometer to get the right wind direction?
