  • succulent ! quelle santé ! en 1955 les chefs d'orchestre n'en faisaient pas "des tonnes " pour diriger de telles oeuvres dynamiques : Talich antithèse de Dudamel :-))

  • I think the orginal tape speed is slower and the transfer makes this sound way sharp and way too fast. Looks like a negative too with the basses off to the conductor's left.

    Otherwise, Talich's Dvorak is untouchable!

  • On my computer there are skips on this video. If it's not just me, is it possible to reload it? Wonderful performance otherwise!!!!!!

    Dooooyh

  • Thanks.

  • Thank you! Now is possible to learn more about this wonderful performance (reminiscences by František Sláma - 1946-54 he studied with Václav Talich and 1955 he took part in this recording).

  • Thank you Gaunerius. The great Czech conductor! I love his interpretations of Mozart - fantastic ouverture from Magic Flute, late symphonies, Suk's symphony Asrael... The most detailed work. Nice to see it here, it's very rare.
