Excellent video. I am glad the reprap is gaining ground with improvements it has come a long way. I was thinking why could this not be done on a larger scale, say take a mold with concrete and have an x/y axis to build a house. Great explanation, I am yet more tempted to get started,but still think I would spend the money for a used CNC machine before I would go with this.

Assuming you mean the spool, there's lots of spools and related filament feeding accessories on thingiverse. One I may try next is object 8317

The firmware is Sprinter, the SD card reader is the one Kliment makes, and my RAMPS is version 1.2.

I use the outline plugin for Skeinforge. Thingiverse number 4918.
