I used to love this series - "Father Ted" and its main theme of informing, awakening and entertaining people through plain and basic disruption. I still love watching the series!
The series Theme Song sort of won my heart as the rain begins to fall, the flashing of an image of a fictional island amidst necessary however very funny-to-the-bone disruptive changes... The spoils of Light spreading up in one's face when confrontation between the obvious/enlightment and the-enforced-mainstream/stupidity clash in the delightful episodes.
Well... In real life, there is actually no progress at all without some of form or another of disruption/change... As we mortals are left to decide whether to laugh or to cry as it all falls apart in our very own shows but just to start again some other place, some other time...
Sadly, shortly after the last episode of the series had been taped... In a private party to his own family and close friends at his estate, Dermot Morgan (Father Ted Crilly) surprised the hell out of everyone there by having a massive heart attack... He passed away.
We all miss the larger-than-life funny old devil!
The big Theme is there for reminding us all that Disruption is how we all enter in this world and it is equally how we all leave this world. - Drink?
Nah!

A few weeks ago I had come across the complete "Father Ted" series collection... Needless to say that being a fan of the show I did get it and seen the whole collection... It prompted me to be inspired enough to record the Father Ted Theme Song which is inspiring and beautiful to me!
