@aernoutalkemade: polygamie is niet hetzelfde als promiscuïteit. Daarbij heb ik tot op heden nog nergens gelezen dat de term polygamie wordt gehanteerd als men het heeft over de concubines en "seksslavinnen", die de witte slavenhouders toenertijd op na hielden terwijl diezelfde slavenhouders al een (wettelijke) vrouw hadden. Voorts vind ik gezinsuitbreiding binnen een samenlevingsvorm zoals bijv. polygamie niet vergelijkbaar met het worden gefokt zoals dat gedurende de slavernij gebeurde.

Heel irritant om te horen hoe er gesproken wordt over de 'promiscuïteit' van de boslandcreolen. Men 'vergeet' er even bij te vermelden, zoals de witten dat vaker doen, dat dit een overlevering is van de slavernij: gezinnen werden bewust uit elkaar gehaald en gehouden door de witten. En dat voor 400 jaar. Tsja!

Hi very nice to see my country way back then. Just wanted to correct , the languages are not called "Taki Taki", and they do have written language ! Was funny to hear the way names are pronounced...but very nice. Thank you for posting.
