This Saudi Wife shows us into her middle class saudi hom that she shares with her in-laws.She discusses the restrictions on her daily life, although she does not see them as such.She says she doesn't have a maid, but her mother-in-law does! In Saudi Arabia, the dowries are very high and marriages are very expensive. Saudi women will not live without having a maid, a driver and many other things... 90% of Saudi citizens have maids ( mostly from Asia )and while its true women arent allowed to drive, they have chauffeurs to drive them anywhere they want Saudi women arent cage at home and they are allowed to go out and have fun..gyms,cafes,shopping.

For example a Muslim women who is home with her husband and children could wear shorts and a tank top, but if she wants go to the store she would put on a abaya to practice modesty in dress. Both Muslim men and women are obligated to practice modesty.

Some Muslim woman want to follow in the footsteps of the prophets wives. They wore the veil. Plus in Saudi its more cultural too. Yes Muslim woman should wear loose dress and stay modest. It some times to get that balance...

I laugh at this lol. They complain a lot yet they are eating, they are eating very well, and drive very nice cars, and live in very luxurious homes. So pick one camel jockeys, u want "freedom" like America, or you want to keep your oil money? Pick your poison.
