@Patriot1776 Yes, the buoy is placed at the stern to avoid that the buoy picks up to much speed. Doing it this way also keeps the need for maintanance on the buoys to a minimum.
Thought for a moment it wasn't ever gonna go in, but I can guess its for safety reasons it was allowed to creep close to the stern before it was let go and allowed to splash?
