@d4m4s74 You're wrong. Sleeves are actually used alot, but cleverly, because people are suspect of sleeves.

Often, something normal, like a wristband/wristwatch or cufflink button is actually a magnet, or attached to the second layer of fabric, so something can be transferred out of sight.

Illusion is all about making people think something has happened, if you're using your sleeves obviously, then you're no illusionist.

First of all - Noone has gotten it right yet.

Look at his left hand, notice how he hold it so the 'wristwatch' band doesn't fall out.

Now notice how he holds his hand up and shakes it back in to his cuffs before hiding the spoon in his hand.

The wristwatch has a strong magnet in it, this enables the fake spoon end to hide in his cuffs while everyone is focused on the fork.

There are spoon attatchments availible from magic stores, and even at close range, from the back its impossible to tell.
