Let's continue with the "on the set" series, this time dedicated to Myrna Loy. The pictures with Clark Gable and the video camera are more photo stills than behind-the-scene photos really but I wanted to include them all the same.

On the set of the following films:

Parnell
Libeled Lady
The Thin Man films
Too Hot to Handle
Test Pilot
Broadway Bill
Mr Blandings Builds his Dream House
The Barbarian
Manhattan Melodrama
Lucky Night
So Goes My Love
The Rains Came
visiting Spencer Tracy on the set of "tortilla flat"

Music: Theme from A Summer Place - Percy Faith.

  • I still have not made my Myrna Loy video. Thank you for reminding me. Natalie Wood might be next for me. You did a beautiful job! I love it!

  • @afrenchindublin I just watched your lovely video again. I recently made a video about Jean Harlow and William Powell, and so Myrna Loy is in some of the pictures. I have this song too, but I am not sure how I will use it later. Bye for now!

  • On-screen, Myrna Loy exuded class and intelligence. LOVE HER and thank you for this charming video:D

  • @Pie2 Thank you! I like those behind-the-scenes pictures too, for the same reason.

  • I love these kinds of photographs. The candids (and almost candids lol) are the best. It makes it easier to imagine being around during that time. Great vid!
