Just wondered where the heel and body is married with the liquid hide glue your using.
I'd assume you have to run more hide glue in that spot because the wood drank most of it. So how do you build up that seam? Do you run your fingers down it like when caulking windows with the hide glue again?

Usually the squeeze out fills that. if not I use a bit of thick Cyan-acrylate
